 Powder Brakes /Clutches are proportional Torque devices. Torque is controlled by varying the excitation current. Torque is strictly proportional to excitation. These devices has minimal drag  torque, i.e. at zero excitation, torque is minimal and near to zero. This devices are for high  torque – low power applications.
Powder Brake & Clutches are manufactured by us in wide range Torque rating starting from tiny 0.3 KgM to massive 100 KgM, & comes in self cooled, forced cooled and water cooled models.. These devices come with matching electronics to meet your most exacting applications

 

• PNEUMATIC BRAKES

 
Pneumatic brakes or popularly called as air brake are manufactured in   the widest range with electronics to match for continuous slip braking applications at medium power levels. These high-performance, dual disc brakes are characterized by their ability to perform right down to zero speed in open loop or closed loop modes of operation. Pneumatic brake offers wide range of torque proportional to air supply from 0.2 psi to max 90 psi.

We manufacture DC Drives. DC Drives are in wide range from 0.5 HP to 500 HP, for various applications. In single phase, DC drives are available upto 7.5HP where as in three phase, DC Drives are available upto 500 HP. simple eddy current adjustable dynamometer, is a totally new concept in dynamic load system for accurate testing applications of all type of electric motors, engines and other rotating machinery's.

The medium of torque transmission in Eddy Current dynamometers is a controlled magnetic field generated by a stationery coil. The developed torque in these dynamometers diminishes with reduction in speed with no
torque developed at zero speed. These dynamometers are ideal for testing engines and motors in the medium to high- speed range and machines with turbo characteristics.

Powder dynamometers develop torque on the basis of electro-mechanical principles wherein the torque developed is independent of speed.. The braking torque is infinitely adjustable through the medium of fine magnetic powder under the influence of the controlled magnetic field. These dynamometers are ideal for testing motors from zero speed, transmissions and machines demanding high torque at low speeds.

Test rigs are designed to provide a self-contained platform to conduct a comprehensive range of validation tests on motors. They consist of a low-vibration structure on casters, suitably rated application-specific dynamometer such as AC dynamometer or magnetic particle dynamometer, suitable sensors, special fixtures for clamping of different types of motors, quick-coupling arrangement, safety guards and interlocks.
PC-based intelligent control system, integral to the test bench, ensures proper sequencing of tests and recording of data for analysis and outputting various information in the form of tabulated and performance graphs. The automated test sequences can be performed by selecting appropriate set up Menu on the dedicated PC-based control system

5. LOAD CELLS


Load Cells

Strain gauge type load cell – a tension transducer for web tension monitoring & controlling is available in various ratings 5 Kg to 1000 Kg.
ASW series of tension sensing load cell are full bridge strain-sensitive, with built-in self-aligning bearings for self adjusting critical vertical as well horizontal level while mounting  suitable for dead shaft or live shaft applications. These are manufactured in ratings from 5 Kg to 150 Kg in five sizes, for base or flange mounting.
For ratings beyond 150 Kg, Upto 1000 Kg, these are manufactured in compression& tension type constructions, cater to most of the popular sizes load cells & applications
All Load Cells are excellent in linearity and repeatability with a nominal output of 1mV/V or 2V/V depending on applications.


6.) WEB TENSION CONTROL SYSTEMS

CTC - To maintain constant tension thru out diametric build up, with advance taper tension facility to get proper winding & avoid telescoping, core crushing due to internal layer pressure etc. This controller had GD² compensation, Taper, Set tension Potentiometer.

7.) STATIC CHARGE ELMINATORS

 

To eliminate static charge from textile yarns, fabrics, plastic films & articles, FBD in pharma machines. Static charge eliminators are available in  various models such as Hot bars, Shock less bars, Area  ioniser, Air ioniser etc.

 We manufacture static charge systems  upto 30 KV volts at 5 mA current

8.) TACHOGENERATOR


Tachogenerator,


Tachogenerator is a device which generates an electrical output directly proportional to the shaft speed. The voltage thus generated is fed to a speedometer for speed measurement and/or used as feed - back signal for controlling the speed of a rotating machine / equipment. In every automatic control system, since the system performance is directly related to the performance it becomes essential that the Tachogenerator must satisfy certain minimum requirements such as:

 

Linear
The rectified output voltage should be strictly linear with respect to the rotational speed

Output signal
the ripple content in the rectified output signal must be as low as possible

Temperature effect
Variations in ambient temperature should have negligible effect on the TG output

Long-term stability
Instability of output cause due to aging of parts, shift in magnetic circuits etc., should be minimum.

Unique features of Tachogenerator

• ALINCO permanent magnet in the rotor assembly gives long term stable operation under varying ambient temperature.
• Large number of poles (48) results in a high frequency output and hence good dynamic response, linearity and wide speed control,   along with low ripple content in the rectified output.
• Rotor and stator assemblies are encapsulated with epoxy resin to prevent any ingress of moistures, dust etc.
• AC tachogenerators in 24 or 48 pole constructions with quasi-sinusoidal output of 30/ 50 Volts AC (rms) @ 1500 rpm
• Stator assembly is housed in cast iron body to minimize magnetic interaction and consequent losses.
• Grease filled, double shielded ball bearings are used for maintenance free operation.

10.) CERBACK

CERBACK is a ceramic backing material for welding, to get perfect penetration without cracks or hairline openings, saves welding cost appox. 40% & time approx 50%, developed first time in INDIA by technocrats & marketed by us.

CERBACK is suitable for ship building, marine facilities, plants and other steel structures and is widely used for one side welding technique such as CO2 semiautomatic welding and automatic welding.

CERBACK is a fine ceramic product composed of adequately mixed natural inorganic substances (kaolin, talc, alumina, magnesia etc.) that are heat-treated at high temperatures of 1,350ºC~1,400º C span. Since CERBACK is heat-treated at high temperatures its shock resistance to rapid heating and cooling is excellent (coefficient of thermal expansion is 1.85- 2.5 x 10-6 at 1,000º C  ) and maintains superb stability against the high temperatures created good beads on the back side. CERBACK has excellent characteristics of ceramic such as anti-acid, anti chemicals.and anti-corrosion and also caused no change or reaction of steel at the time of welding.
